Watermoor Community Garden

This moving and beautifully kept little memorial garden was
created by the Watermoor Community Group in November 2018.  The plaque bears the names of  over a hundred men killed in the Great War from Watermoor (then the site of an extensive locomotive works). The garden is intended to be part of an ongoing project to rejuvenate the "rundown area close to Watermoor Road's several fast food restaurants" and occupies what would otherwise have been a piece of ugly waste ground.
