I was surprised to discover that another garage once occupied the entrance to the Woolmarket on Dyer Street!Other vanished garages include Steel's on the Gardner's site and Bridges' in Castle Street. Bennetts in Victoria Road recently closed after 86 years - though I notice they have new premises out on the Industrial Estate.
