This Sunday, I am walking in Harebushes Wood with the boys. This road once ran straight from the Abbey Farm to the main gate of the Abbey Grounds. The farm and woodland still belong to the Chester-Masters family who once owned the old Abbey House. Now the route is cut short by the dual carriageway.
